Welcome Friends
I’m so glad you’re here!
As I continue to seek the Lord, grow in His wisdom, and receive fresh revelations,
I can’t help but share the goodness He pours into my life.
My hope is that you will be encouraged, uplifted, and draw closer to Him as well.
Come and let’s grow together in His grace!
The Great What if…
Jonah and the Fish – What if the fish said, “I’m not swallowing Jonah”
The Star Leading the Wise Men – What if the star said, “I don’t feel like shining tonight.”
Noah’s Ark – What if the rain refused to fall, saying, “Nope, I won’t flood the earth.”
Jesus Calming the Storm – What if the storm said, “Nope, I like raging, I’m not going to stop.”
The Parting of the Red Sea – What if the sea said, “No way, I like my waves where they are.
The Israelites can swim”
The Water Turning into Wine – What if the water said, “Nope, I’m staying water.”
If nature obeys God without question, shouldn’t we aim to do the same?
God designed us, like all of creation, to walk in obedience to Him. When He places an opportunity before us, we should trust Him.
when we hesitate or turn away, we risk missing out on the blessings and purpose He has in store for us.
If the fish refused to swallow Jonah, God would have sent another fish, but in doing so, that fish would have missed
the blessing of playing a role in Jonah’s journey to bring God’s message to Nineveh
If the star had decided not to shine and guide the wise men, God would have found another star to lead them to baby Jesus.
That star would have missed the incredible blessing of being part of the divine plan to reveal the Savior to the world
When you have an opportunity, do you think of it as -an opportunity or an obstruction?
Do you see it as God giving you the privilege to do something that will honor Him
as well as someone else or do you see it as an obstruction?
I am too busy, maybe later, I am just going to ignore it and it will go away,
I remember being at Costco a while back and seen an elderly gentleman that use to live in the same apartments as my son,
he has heart problems, no car and on social security-limited income.
I would run into him now and then at different places in town and would offer him a ride home
as he mainly walks but sometimes calls a taxi.
That one day at Costco, I seen him but he did not see me. I hurried out of his sight as
I did not feel like giving him a ride. Not that I had other commitments either.
By avoiding him, I chose my own pride and my own selfish desires over an act of kindness.
I missed a God-given opportunity to have a nice conversation with him and who
knows what other blessings I missed out on
When we invest in people, we also invest in ourselves and get blessed.
Just as we give unconditionally, we respond unconditionally
When we quote
Matthew 22:37-39–“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”
Is this how we really live?
Sometimes we do, but other times, we fall short.
What feels like an inconvenience to you could be a miraculous opportunity for someone else
A difficult opportunity is often someone else’s answered prayer
The help you give someone today could be the testimony someone shares tomorrow
The smallest act of kindness could be the biggest blessing in someone’s life
A closed door for you might be the open door someone else needs
You might be God’s answer to someone else’s prayer
Don’t miss opportunities when God gives them to you, because they might lead to
blessings you never expected
Don’t miss opportunities when God gives them to you, because you may be the vessel
He is using to change someone’s life
Don’t miss opportunities when God gives them to you, because obedience to His calling
leads to spiritual growth
Don’t miss opportunities when God gives them to you, because He is inviting you
to be part of His greater plan
When God places opportunities before us, it’s up to us to step into them
God will find somebody to do what He wants done even he has to go through 100 people,
he’ll find somebody but when God give you the opportunity, you don’t want to let it pass you by
Parable of the Good Samaritan found in Luke 10:25-37
In this parable, Jesus tells of a Jewish man who was robbed, beaten, and left half-dead on the road.
A priest and a Levite both saw him but passed by on the other side as
they seen the man as an obstruction.
A Samaritan stopped to help the injured man, bandaged his wounds, and took care of him.
Samaritan and Jews are known to not like one another but the Samaritan seen it as an opportunity.
An opportunity is a God-given occasion in which He wants to use you in some fashion, in some way
to help somebody, encourage somebody, give to somebody,
to make an impact in somebody else’s life
I encourage you all to start thinking today, right now
Lord, enable me to recognize the opportunities around me
Lord, make me sensitive to see the opportunities that you place in my path
Lord. give me the courage to step in where that opportunity is and to do what you have called me to do.
We will be happier and have more peace because we are doing what God has called us to do
The greatest opportunity given to man is eternal life in heaven.
Romans 10:9:–“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
You have the opportunity right now for God to change your life
Trusting in Jesus isn’t about religion or rules—it’s about finding peace, hope, and a new way of living.
Jesus offers you the gift of salvation—purely out of His love for you
Accepting Him as your Savior, you will begin to live a life that you never knew existed.
The Bible teaches that when our time here on earth ends, there is something more—something eternal.
2 Corinthians 5:8 says-to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord
