About Me

Hi there, and welcome!
I’m Denise Powers and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’ve been a believer in the Lord my whole life,
but my real journey with Him began in January 2022.
That’s when the He decided it was time to kick me off my throne
— time to grow, mature, and move beyond being a “baby Christian.”

It all began when my 35 year-old daughter, Andrea, went on hospice
and I moved in with her for 3 months and 7 days to care for her

If her hospice situation hadn’t occurred exactly when it did
—alongside other external challenges, hitting me all at once
I would likely still be a baby Christian.

God used those circumstances to draw me closer to Him.
To grow me and teach me in ways I never imagined

Thank you Lord for recusing me from myself !

Since then, my walk with God has been
full of lessons, challenges and awakenings
Opening my eyes and bringing new understanding

My hope is to help others.
I don’t have all the answers, but as I learn, I share what the Lord shows me.
Lessons I wish someone had shared with me sooner
