Demons are real, satan is real.
He is not the author of blessing, peace and joy.
He is the author of hate, destruction and division.
We are in a battle, in the middle of spiritual warfare.
This world is way more spiritual than we realize or understand.
Today is the day to declare war, today is the day to declare victory.
Today is the day to tell every stronghold over your life, that it is time to go.
As we take authority over enemy, we take victory over him.
Let’s crush him today!

Thank you for joining me today on my Journey of Spiritual Growth.
As I learn, grow, and mature in the Lord, may you find inspiration as well.
that there are two worlds battling with each other and we are right smack in the middle of it.
My whole life I grew up with the understanding that this little devil was sitting
on my shoulder tempting me to do things and that I needed to ignore that voice
and ignore temptation and just continue on with my self-serving life.
I never really understood “how to do” life.
Maybe because I would only think about God one day a week, on Sunday
then do my own thing mon-sat.
Over the past one and a half years, digging deep into my bible, 7 days a week
with an excellent bible instructor who
pretty much explains the bible- verse by verse, has been a real eye opener for me.
I have just finished up the study of the Old Testament..
I would like to take a minute and thank the Lord for placing Dr Randall Smith into my life.
One Hour. One Book I highly recommend his teachings
He helped me understand the bible in ways that I never could.
I never really knew anything about, spiritual warfare.
I have never heard it talked about it in church.
I did know that God has a victorious army of angels and satan has an army of fallen angels.
I didn’t understand the reality of the battle going on in both the spiritual world
and the physical world.
Ephesians 6:12-“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,
against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
When I truly started grasping this concept,
I had a lightbulb moment, a spiritual awakening.
My battle is not with the relationship disputes in my life
but the true battle Christians face is spiritual, not physical.
I have been playing mostly for the wrong team…the enemy.
God has woken me up and slowly he has been showing me and preparing me,
though His word, how to be a true soldier for the Lord.
oh, you bet that I fought Him as I did not like His ways.
I liked annoying my husband, I liked to, secretly in my head, complain about his bad habits
and huff about it,
I wanted justice for those who wronged me-not love them and pray for them,
I apparently liked to vent and talk about others behind their back as I did it often,
Then the convictions started to hit my heart and I started to learn to listen to the Holy Spirit,
Whose team am I on?
We have an enemy, and he is scheming against us.
We have weapons that work in the spiritual realm.
All Christians have an Armor of God but some choose not to wear
God has called us to be a soldier, not a slave
We need to free ourselves from the demonic attacks by walking with the Lord our God.
Ephesians 6:10-18-the apostle Paul outlines for us
You need a Full Armor of God, to be a mighty warrior for God
Don’t worry, God trains His mighty soldiers, and it might be by allowing certain challenges
and certain situations into our lives.
How can we get real life experience without the practice?
God wants us to understand that the most effective way to overcome
the enemy is by staying joyful in every season of your life- good and bad
Stay at peace when situations and challenges are not changing.
Stay faithful to the Lord when times are tough.
Stay on fire for God when we face the consequences of our sin.
We may not see what is going on in the spirit world, but by doing this,
we are trampling on the devil’s plan.
God created us to reign in light,
God wants you to walk in His ways and by walking in His ways, we are walking in spiritual victories,
I have since learned:
–to turn complaining and nagging into thank-you for all that You have given me in life
as I know that You can take it away from me with a blink of an eye.
— venting and talking behind backs is just plain ole, downright wrong
–wanting justice and karma for those who have done wrong to me, I now understand
that they also have satan working through them and I need to pray for them.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
I now wake up every morning by my putting on my full armor of God
before getting out of bed and before my feet touch the ground.
If I want to be one of God’s soldiers,
I need to take responsibility for what I need to do today then what I can’t do,
I need to trust the Lord to take care of the rest and live today with
joy and peace in my heart as I know God and His army of angels are fighting a battle
that we cannot see.
A battle that needs my help !
No, It is not easy but it does get easier the more we mature in the Lord

Psalm 97:11 “Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.”
Dear Heaven Father
I come before you today ready and willing to be your mighty soldier.
Help open my eyes and see that there is more to this physical world than we can see
but two worlds at battle. Even thou I don’t understand everything going on in the
spiritual world, I do understand that I need to be fighting on the right team.
Help strengthen me Lord and help me build the endurance that I need-
joy, peace and understanding within my heart as I face situations that challenges me and helps
me to becoming a mighty soldier.
In Jesus’ name I pray
